My mom and I went to Moose Creek on Saturday
morning to look for her two gowns for our weddings next year.
My brother is also getting married but in June so she needs
to purchase two completely different dresses. Can you believe
that the two first gowns she tried on, she ended up buying?
Since I was with her, I got first choice on which one I wanted
her to wear to my event. They are gorgeous!!! She looks like
such a hot momma with the dresses! I'm really excited because
the dress I picked for her to wear to my event, has some similarities
to my bodice so I'm really excited because we'll look a bit
alike! SO cute!
We also went shopping for tiaras, shoes &
necklaces for me. I found a tiara I really liked, I just found
it a bit steep in price but the more brides I talk to, the
more they tell me that it's a great price! So I might go back
after Christmas again to try it on, they also said they are
getting some more in so I'll have more variety.
I did end up purchasing my necklace. It was
a steal of a price and very beautiful!! It's got lots of bling!
I can't wait to wear it. We've decided to put it away until
the special day in my mom's safety deposit box at the bank.
As for shoes, nothing caught my eye. I don't
know if it's just me but I find wedding shoes most of them
are either so plain and boring or just FUGLY!! I think i'll
wait until the spring models come out at ALDO or Transit and
go check them out there. I don't want to buy a pair of shoes
that are ugly either. |
