Honeymoon

Our invites are in! Our invites are in!!!!

After 2 months of going back and forth with the numbnut at the store, they have finally come in. Jimmy and I spent most of tonight folding envelope cards and filling them with the invitations and reply cards. Haven't sealed them just yet b/c we have to put the registry info along with the hotel info in there as well. First thing tomorrow I'm going to go to Canada Post and find out how much the envelope with cards costs to mail. I want to make sure it's still under the minimum. I go over and we're screwed we'll have to pay double for each invite so wish me luck!

Honeymoon

Jimmy and I sat down this past long weekend and discussed possible locations for our honeymoon. We have narrowed it down to St Lucia, Punta Cana, La Romana and the Mayan Riviera. St Lucia will most likely be stripped from the list because of the huge price difference. We were originally wanting 10-14 nights but it's going to cost a lot so now we're considering anything from 7-10 nights. I'm hoping for 10 but if we can't find any, then we'll do the 10 days for our budget.

We are going to register at Marlin Travel within the next couple of weeks. I am hoping that by this coming weekend we narrow down to 2 hotels so we can go into the travel agency and secure it all and put the order through for the registry cards we have to send with our invites by June 14 (invites that BETTER arrive by end of this week).

We've decided to pick something not as expensive because in April we're going to our first Destination Wedding in Cuba for his best friend's sister's wedding so it's going to be kind of a mini moon for us as well.

Registry

I had my mother-in-law in town for a week last week and she stayed with us for 4 days. I brought her with me to go register for my bridal shower at Linens-N-Things over the weekend. I'm going to have 2 bridal registries going. Mainly because LnT didn't offer a lot of options for things we really needed but they did carry a few things I liked more than at The Bay. So our second registry is at The Bay.

Now, just to make things clear, these are the bridal shower registry items. Not the wedding registry. For our wedding registry, we're asking for those who would want to, to donate into our honeymoon fund which will be an account with Marlin Travel at Place D'Orleans. Info to come with the invites.

Workout Plan

I joined a womens' workout bootcamp in Orleans this week. It runs from May 5 - May 30. You can either sign up from 3x/week or 5x/week. I signed on for the 5x/week. I really like it but boy am I in pain! I haven't been able to go down the stairs properly since Tuesday morning haha. They really work you hard. I'm going tonight to get measured and weighed.

I hope to see some results within 2 weeks and great results by the end of the session. Hoping to tone up in time for bikini season and then I can just maintain it easily at the gym before the wedding.

Music

My mom, stepdad, Jimmy and I went to the church where we'll marry, this past weekend to meet with possible singer/piano player for the ceremony in the church.

She made both my mom and I cry when she played a song I told her I wanted to walk down the aisle to. It's a song that I've been dreaming about walking down the aisle to since I was a little girl. It's perfect. We booked her on the spot. I think I'll have to make sure I have some kleenex on me because there is NO WAY I am going to be able to control the tears the day of!!

When is my wedding
