Marlin Travel - Registry

OH...MY...GOD.... our honeymoon has been paid in full!! We don't owe anything! We're going to Punta Cana for free!! (well besides our $600 deposit we put down earlier this year) I cannot believe how generous our guests have been WOW! I"m soo glad we opted for the 2 week trip rather than the 1 week b/c now we can go without any worries! Thanks soo much to all those who donated, I won't know who you are until after the wedding when I open all the wedding cards :)

On another note, today my co-workers surprised me by taking me out for lunch and giving me a wonderful present! It is a photo album cube soo nice! Thanks guys so much it was very thoughtful!!

Stagette #1

We went to Montreal for my first stag. It was soo much fun! 3 of us drove up together and we met up with another Ottawa friend while my 2 friends from Montreal met us at the hotel. They got a super cute hotel in the heart of the gay village. We went to a really yummy restaurant that was bring your own wine and then we headed back to the hotel to drink and hang out on the cute patio the hotel had. Then we went to a drag show!! OMG it was hilarious!! I had my photos taken with a couple of them and I was even dragged up on stage where they made fun of my penis necklaces and everything else. The drag queen was a total riot. The actual show was really entertaining too. On my way out, I met a transsexual that wanted to have his photo taken with me. LOL Thanks girls! It was a blast!

Ceremony Programs

I finally finished printing up all our ceremony programs. I just hope we have enough printed up. Should be one per family/couple and so far we have 177 guests so that should be more than enough.

I'm going to have to go this weekend and pick up a nice box to put all my keepsakes from our wedding.

Honeymoon

I met with our travel agent on Friday to find out how much so far has been donated into our registry. I just want to thank all those who so far have generously donated into the fund!! Because of all the generous amounts, we've decide to go for 14 nights on our honeymoon!!! I can't wait :)

Marriage License

Since Jimmy and I took last Friday off to head to Montreal in the early afternoon for a friend's wedding, I took it as a great opportunity to go and get our marriage license since they are only open during work hours (9-5). Thing cost us $145! Can you believe it? You have to PAY to get married. So stupid! Anyhoo, now we've got it and all that is missing is for the church admin assistant to return my call so that we can make the final meeting with the Deacon and I can finalize my ceremony programs this weekend.

Only 32 days to go!!!
